Whoops:Why is this an advantage to Woodward? How does he profit from it?. My theory: Deep Throat was a multitude of sources and made up stories; if one of the multiple sources wants to stand up and say "I'm Deepthroat", it's to your advantage to go along with the story and deflect the heat from the other multiple sources and stories.
