So Eastern Washington...is it time for secession (or joining with Idaho?)

"The next election will be a fraud extravaganza."
Count on it to be as smelly as old fish. The Democrats stole Wisconsin for Kerry and will do it again in 2008. Wisconsin has a Democrat governor who has vetoed voter ID and other ways to clean up the vote. He is following a playbook put out by the DNC for all states.
Between tax increases, dumbing down schools, trade imbalances with China and elsewhere, rampant illegal immigration and ginning up class warfare, the Democrats/liberals have just about knocked the USA off the top of the world power heap.

there's a fair number of Oregonians who might be interested....

An appeal is going to be a total waste of time and money. The socialists down in the WA state supreme ct in Olympiadstat are not going to overturn this decision.

One of the so-called sin taxes is a tax on coke and pepsi type drinks from what I have heard.

He states, "the voters of this state are in the position to demand that remedial measures be implemented immediately."Apparently, voters are in no position to do anything here but submit to the will of Demonkrats. Well over 75% of voters, from both parties, favor a revote to correct this ridiculous selection. They spoke, he ignored!
Justice is supposed to be blind, but when did it go deaf and dumb as well?

Looks like we're gonna carpool. "shotgun!"
I've been planning to leave and it will be this summer. I was deciding between the Portland Metropolis and the Seattle Metropolis, but this is another wart on Washington State. Here's some of my reasons.
-The I-5 "parking lot"
-West-Side control of East-Side Water Rights
-Taxes approved by West-Side when East-Side gets little or no benefit, but does get a lighter wallet.
-Ignorant people controlling Hanford Cleanup from the West-Side.
-Increasing how much malpractice insurance doctors must carry (Causing specialist to leave)
-Passing budgets in the legislature at 12.1% over budget (wish I could do that... ethically), then saying it was done on time and no OT was paid (wow, the savings).
- Now the court rules that 1678 votes that are illegal have no relevance to an election that was decided by 129 (now 134) votes.
I see very little benefit to starting a business in Washington State, let alone bringing in other people that wish to do the same.

It would probably be easier than creating most races in WA state as and electoral college design.
Secession sounds good. Then we can keep all the hydroelectric power to ourselves and have an economic boom! But we have to get rid of those piece of garbage windmills that popped up recently. Or sell them to the West Side for the $1,000,000 a piece it cost to buy them. Wow, kick government out of Hanford and actually clean it up in a few years and start cranking out nuclear again! I like it.

Typical liberal thinking: If you've totally ruined something...move away, start over and blame someone else for screwing up the last thing. Then do exactly the same thing you did last time, believing it will work better this time because you're trying harder.
I'd love to see them take responsibility and try to actually clean up their own messes for a change.
To: Dead Dog
Since 1600 votes cast illegally versus 134 vote difference has no relevance. What are the possibilities now of massive amounts of illegal voting (multiple votes, deceased voting, felons, out-of-jurisdiction voting, underage voting, etc.) being used to pass or fail initiatives with overwhelming votes, electing someone to landslide victories, and so on?
This makes the free state project look even better.

Dino Rossi has stated repeatedly that he will not be a candidate for the Senate. Rossi wants to change things for the better in his state and so is right to turn down the second-rate, two-bit consolation prize of running for a Senate seat that he has little chance of winning anyway. Time for the B-Team to step up with a candidate.

That's the way many parasites work. Once the host is dead or cannot support any more, another subject to leech off of must be found. We must look at ways to avoid being the host. Then take action.
