Congress is the will of the people -- for better or worse.And if the people tomorrow decided to take your home without compensation, and Congress passed a law allowing it, then I guess that would be OK with you, since Congress was just reflecting the will of the people.

The problem is that 2/3 of congress and 3/4 of the states can take anything they want from you. Can kick out every part of the bill of rights if they want to. I think sometimes we forget that. That individual rights do have a limit, even in our constitution.
