Their loss.
As I gazed at the piece of the Trade Center which is part of the memorial, the likenesses of the two towers, and the names of each & every victim etched around the base, I felt again the anger, the hurt, the rage that I felt that day.
People were arriving in a steady stream to visit the memorial; several left flowers and American flags.
Partly because of what happened that day, my son enlisted in the National Guard. He will be leaving for the sandbox this November.
He may, sometime during his tour of duty, inadvertently "offend" a terrorist or two.
I don't care.
Please give your son a big THANK YOU from me.
