Abu Ghraib doesn't have anything to do with what occurred at Gitmo. What happened at Abu Ghraib was the result of PC feminist policies and did not server any military objectives. What occurred at Abu Ghraib was purely sexual and base, and it was fueled by female sexual desires. I'm not buying the Pentagon's feminist spin and attempt to downplay sexual nature of what took place at this facility. We're talking about the military here -not college or adolescents.
My bad for mixing Gitmo and Abu Ghraib in the same sentence as I know they're totally unrelated. The media is desperately trying to stir the pot about these so-called abuses and typical Americans aren't biting.
A stupid book was accidentally kicked because some sandy little rat left it lying around on the floor? Hey, I know a guy named Wilbur Smidgen from East Bump, Tennessee who accidentally stepped on his son's SpongeBob Squarepants doll when the kid left it on the stairs...let's toss the book at him, too.
Beheading people, now THAT is something horrific. People laughing and pointing at your privates and putting underwear on your head? That is just silly immaturity. Thankfully most of our countrymen can appreciate the difference.

Don't be ridiculous. Obviously, Lyndie Endgland's "sexual desires" were being well taken care of by Sgt. Graner.
Her "abuse" of the prisoners was calculated to humiliate them because of Muslim rubrics about nakedness, etc. and THEIR tendency to taunt, torture, and humiliate women...(not to mention the 12 year-old girls they raped.)
Lyndie turned the tables on them. It was at the advice of her superiors, the military interrogators who were way above her in rank.
That she seemed to enjoy it may have been immodest, but at least she didn't cut off anybody's head!
