I wish I could claim sarcasm for the remark about the WOT--
I guess that I am still naive enough to believe that Americans would want America and her citizens kept safe at ALL costs...I won't make that mistake anymore after seeing this impeachment crap...
IMHO, if President Bush DIDN'T go into Iraq with what we KNEW and didn't know about what he would do, after 9/11, THEN one might have a case for impeachment if Saddam gave WMDs to terrorists..
From what I understand from my civics class a LONG time ago, the 1st, number 1 job of the President and Federal government is to keep the citizens safe from harm from other countries...

On another subject.... I'm really concerned that Kerry's call for impeachment will gain steam (with the obvious assist it will get from the msm). Of course impeachmente won't happen, of course it's just a Kerry led attempt to regain favor with the far left, but it could get nasty and cause a further dip in President Bush's popularity. That will stall all President Bush's programs, and THAT is the ultimate goal of the dems. They want Clinton impeachment revenge, but they also want to go into the 2006 elections claiming Bush and congressional republicans can't get anything done for the American people.

Think Swift Boat Vets. I watched the Memorial Day celebration on C-span. Rolling Thunder claimed they were the ones that put PRESIDENT Bush back in office. It was great!!!
