There are NOT more people in prison than out.
Also there is no reliable estimate of how many malcontents have turned to Islam however it is a big concern. Islam doesn't care what the reason is for coming on board as long as they are hate filled and enjoy violence.
Uh, I believe "general population" refers to the population within the prisons. I know, because I watch a lot of movies about prisons.(LOL)
