Did you know that many law schools have clinic programs affiliated with the ACLU? Many professors are actual directors of ACLU chapters and use the law students (for credit) as help for the grunt work.
In some cases law student interns are certified to appear in court as if they had passed the bar exam as long as they are supervised by a fully licensed attorney. (the aclu/law professor)
Law schools are one of the fronts against the ACLU.
I suspected as much.
