No country lasts forever. That's an inarguable fact.

It's true. Once upon a time, there was a place called England. One day, it just vanished. It was near the spot where the ancient nations of France and Spain and Portugal and Holland once stood. All gone. I woke up this morning, smoking hole where Canada used to be.

It's spooky, man.

The America in which I grew up certainly no longer exists. There's not a day that goes by that I don't lament not being able to provide *that* America for my children to inherit.

So, yes, I suppose that all nations do expire.

Try opening a history book, son. Countries are defined by many things, one of which is type of government. You and the China-analogy fellow are apparently unaware that China and England have undergone dramatic government changes.
