They're ALL ok with the lights off.
As Ben Franklin said: "All cats are gray in the dark".
And we know how smart 'ol Ben was.
The older I get, I like the lights dimmed too.
Especially with my obtuse scarring.
When I was a kid I wanted to do it under bright lights...lol...see it all. You know how men are so visial.
Now, some candles or backlighting is good enough.
