should we put the military on the border as Rep Steve King suggests or call out the militia as the Constitution calls for?

Military, since the militia is no longer regulated.

Or are we not being invaded?

We ARE being invaded. Invasion is not just an infiltration by an ARMED force, it is an encroachment by ANY large group of people, armed or otherwise.

Or is the military and the militia one and the same?

No. Our standing army is unconstitutional. The militia was supposed to be our 'regular' army, but having a standing army is exactly WHY our militia is no longer *regulated*.

Our standing army is unconstitutional.

Sorry 'bout this:

Article II, Section 2:

"The President shall be Commander in Chief of the Army...and of the Militia...

Emphases and ellipses added. Were were, and are, supposed to have both.

I was in the Army; I'm now in the Militia, and stand ready to hear the call to arms.
