Spending time and money investigating whether something untoward may have happened to an assemblage of paper, ink and glue makes us just as nuts as the fanatics trying to kill us.

"Spending time and money investigating whether something untoward may have happened to an assemblage of paper, ink and glue makes us just as nuts as the fanatics trying to kill us." Thanks for verbalizing so well what I was thinking. Why is the Pentagon, of all places, spending precious time, energy and money trying to run down what an American guard allegedly did to a book of fiction in a terrorist prison camp? Why do they play ball with the media? It's all so twisted. It makes sense ONLY IF our government itself believes the koran to be 'sacred' and 'holy'. But either way, it amounts to a collossal insult to our troops who put themselves in harm's way to fight these devils of the koran.
