I know what you mean. History has shown that the Turks can be quite brutal to those who oppose them.

Thanks blam.
It is believed Israel has acquired film footage of the launches, which involved two Scud D variants, with a range of 400 miles, and one Scud B, with a range of 190 miles... Turkey confirmed that missile debris had landed around two villages in the southern province of Hatay. The Turkish foreign ministry said Syria had assured it that the incident was "just an accident" during routine military training.

They fire a scud over Turkey and that is suppose to taunt the US? What about the Turkey?

They feel our tauntedness.

Ask the North Koreans and Red Chinese who were in the Korean war if the Turks are easy meat.

I suspect Assad had secured a silent approval from the Turkish government; which, in spite of its NATO association is trying to be a regional player, a regional power in its own right, and its fundamentalist Islamic government is moving closer to the anti-Israel war-drum beaters in the Middle East.

Turkey’s silent approval of the use of its territory for the tests seems like a very logical progression in its foreign policy, regardless of its continued NATO ties.
