I have seen many of their policies in two great books written by William A. Donahue. "The Politics of the American Civil Liberties Union", and "Twilight of Liberty".
As for there actual policy guide...I've requested it. I was told that it was for "internal purposes" only, and not for the public. Wonder why.

They definitley have an agenda, and they are a very powerful and twisted organization. They are widely hated, and the people have the power over them. The people just need to organize and do something about it rather than complain and whine. The ACLU are activists, and it will take organized activists to reign them in. We need to get organized. I'm trying to do this. Join us!

Well Jay, it seems that a publicly funded organization cannot have "internal use only documents."
Even with privilege extended, these are definitely not work product, and therefor are not subject to disclosure.
Thanks for the book names. I'm going to look to buy them right now, online.
I'm going to have a look around at some of the other legal sites that were cited here and see what is happening.
I cannot be the only person experienced with publicly funded orgs.
BTW, who and when did you contact at the ACLU?
