What do you consider a paleoconservative?

Just curious?

Buchananites. Most on FR are quite harmless but I'm concerned with the "all our problems can be traced to illegals/Jews" single-issue variety.

GTG or I'm getting nothing done :(

Anyone smearable usually.

I don't think many here can easily fit into any of the various "con" labels. Labels are used around here to zing or "rope off" someone and they come from all angles.

Neocon means cultural liberal Clown Posse FReeper frequently.....sometimes Jewish but it's grown way beyond that. Actually in a twist, moderate FReepers push the "NeoCon is Jewish" angle to smear as anti-Jewish non-NeoCons who label folks as NeoCon.

Now PaleoCon is used as a smear to mean Racist or Anti-Jewish or Christian Taliban as they call it.

It's all damned silly and rarely fits well but it's so tempting. I admit to using NeoCon years back myself.

I think the majority of FReepers are a paleo-neo-quasi-Conservative mix with a varying dose of small L libertarian thrown in. I know I'm more paleo culturally than most and that invites smears....that's fine.

In any event if the freeper in question knows who's minority or Jewish or feline or whatever here then obviously they did not just drop in and are watching.

I'm not convinced they are ideological. Some folks are just nasty and get kicks. One of FR's competing sites exists primarily just for that...to be mean and cruel.
