Not really. Some of these people have several sleeper accounts, with which they post routine stuff from time to time in order to make those accounts appear legitimate. With that kind of advanced preparation, a small waiting period wouldn't be very effective in preventing a full-blown freak attack.

But if their log-on were somewhat valuable to them, they may be dissuaded from engaging in this activity. The point is to make it inconvenient to engage in such behavior.

Like I said, it would be a pretty good start. FR can be really locked down if the powers that be made it that way.

I join you in support. I too, received the images. For what reason I do not know. I am just grateful that my children were not exposed to such filth. I muse that anyone may think, by reading my screenname, that I am Asian. If so, they do not know that the name comes from literature and that I am as anglo-saxon as they come. I was added to the ping list after supporting Cyborg ,rdb3 and mhking after one of his first attacks and I hadn't even seen the images yet,just like you are doing now!

Maybe now you'll understand me when I say that this person is a regular on FR. You have to be familiar with our site's terrain in order to target people who are either black, Jewish, or Hispanic, AND then turn on a dime to target those who express their disgust.

This "person" ain't no newbie, I can tell you that.

My guess is that new sleeper accounts are easy to create. A dedicated freak can have dozens (I've actually seen this), with new ones routinely being formed. Perhaps the solution, not a great one, is to prevent a new account from posting pics until it's got a history of posting, say, 100 posts, maybe even 300. When the magic number is reached, the account automatically becomes "pic enabled." I can't imagine how to program that, but it's probably doable. Tough on legitimate newbies, but maybe necessary.
