Oh great.
It seems so easy, if one were determined, to contaminate water supplies. We screen for bacteria and some chemicals such as volatile organics, but think of how many chemicals and biologicals we DON'T screen for....have not felt the need for, perhaps do not have reliable tests for detection.
Recall AQ said they were capable of poisoning the water supply to a major US cit?
Just pondering the possibilities...
Most utilities (water and power) take meticulous care of the areas surrounding water supplies and substations. How do they do this....some use bids for the maintenance of these areas. Now suppose the bidders used foreign laborers? Is it likely they are checking the documentation of workers they never see or who are in these areas in the evenings or on weekends (non-work hours)? Just a question!
