Hey WCG....still being stated that this is a false alarm....let's hope so. There was a report last night on the news that 10 French fighter jets had been doing maneuvers with the Canadian navy off the coast of NY. These French Fighter jets are now on the ground in Atlantic City, NJ...because the French pilots don't have enough money to refuel.

When I heard this reported last night it just didn't "feel" right....just sounds very odd. An additional report this morning stated that these French Fighter jets were on their way to an air show....so it all just makes me wonder...what in the world are a foreign countries fighter jets doing in our air space???

How could they not have enough money to refuel? It's not like they have to go down to the nearest Exxon and put it on Cirac's credit card. That's bizzare.

10 fighter jets for an airshow? I didn't think France had that many in working order. lol

Seriously though I would think DHS would check this out pronto. What airshow? Background check on the pilots etc.

And no money for fuel??
