I'm just going to put it out there that Frank Wisner was turned by the Soviet Union when he was spying on them and Mockingbird was nothing more than a Trojan to get in to the MSM.
After the Rosenbergs and Hiss and the dust settled from Watergate the Post has been full steam ahead with the Soviet agitprop. The blowback from Felt (while possibly a simple matter of greed) may prove to be the undoing of many a useful idiot. Of course it won't make any headlines but then again when you buy ink by the barrel...
