In Woodwards 1st book on George W. Bush, :"Bush At War" he told quite a few lies about what he witnessed and what he didn't
I love this: http://www.upenn.edu/pennnews/current/2002/101702/feature2.html
When asked if he had ever lied, Woodward said hed gotten things wrong, but Ive never done it intentionally. And while he admitted that if a lie might save someones life, he might do it, the concept clearly made him uncomfortable. The truth is difficult. Ive not seen the noble lie. Ive seen the ignoble lie far too often.
