I am not sure Woodward was on the Kerry campaign beat. He is an executive editor now. I wish he had been. By the way, I think the Washington Post is a fine newspaper, not as fine as the Wall Street Journal, but better than most.

Granted--the Post has improved since the 60's, marginally, whereas the Times has deteriorated more than marginally. It's still a liberal rag--and nowhere near the WSJ. As to Kerry, a story's a story. If Woodward's the great truthteller, how did he miss all the signs?

I seem to remember how Woodward, the Post and almost every other member of the MSM were totally outraged over Charles Colson having just one FBI file. That same group seemed to completely ignore it when the Clintons had over 900 files. I have absolutely no respect for anyone associated with that paper.
