That mirrors the office...very quiet this afternoon, I think everyone decided to start their weekend early!

Ah, yes...warm, sunny, slight breeze...think I'll have to check out the water temp in the 'black' lagoon when I get home from work. Should be just about right for a dip before taking Nana out to dinner!

A dip in the pool sounds yummy! Does Nana do some of her therapy there? Just getting in the pool would be therapy enough, huh! Good for the soul!
Good for the soul, indeed. She's doing aqua therapy at the hospital, and does a combo of land and aqua at home.
Getting up and down the steps is a challenge, because the rise is fairly steep. She hit a milestone last night...she managed to stand up from a position where her...ummm...derriere was lower than her knees. That's quite an accomplishment when your good knee - the one that wasn't operated on - is shot.

I have my own woodchuck terminator, her name is Maddie, best dog around, and she is very good at that she does!

My daughter forced me off the computer. :) Her friend sent us a new computer game she just had to try. :)
It's chilly this afternoon. And cloudy. We were lucky to see the sun sometimes this week. Memorial Day was gorgeous so I shouldn't complain. Is it back to hot by you?

One day he came home with a neighbor, armed with a shotgun, hard on his heels. Seems that Ringo decided that the neighbor's peacock would make a fantastic trophy for his family!

HiJinx--it just sounds like she is doing fantastic. If you two were to go back and read some of the things you posted right after her surgery--she would be amazed at herself for how far she has come! Her hard work and your help have really paid off! Now--just keep up those "baby steps" and she'll be ready to dance in no time!LOL!

Well, then, as you found out--it is pretty darn warm! Not hot--that would be the high 90's or 100's--but pretty warm!
We had big ole thunderboomers right after midnight last night that kept me awake for way too long and that brought us 3/4 of an inch of rain, which is really a lot for us (did you see that post, too? LOL!) But now the sun is blasting down and you can watch the grass grow!

If I ever get the chance to blow this tiny little town (which has been great to raise children in, and I love the people here), you will find me nestled into a little beach house, somewhere on the Gulf, and I will live out the rest of my days!
