I don't even understand his point. Ostensibly, Dean is relaying some story that will charge up his base. But, isn't he supposed to be reaching out to Red States? Ridicule of an Evangelical Christian, and one who professes to support him, is supposed to help his cause? Maybe I'm just too stupid to get it, but this makes no sense to me.

I'm with you. While Dean ridicules the people he claims he is reaching out to like evangelicals, Republicans are reaching out to traditional Dem voters such as African Americans on issues like school choice and gay marriage. I hope he keeps it up.

You're not stupid, and neither is he. You're trying to approach this from a logical and sincere perspective and that's why it doesn't make sense.

Dean is a lying duplicitous bass turd. He knows the truth, he just finds it more convenient to lie. The left serves an an enabler and does nothing to rein him in, and I guess we do, too (although for different reasons).

Like the FReeper said; Howierd Dean is a gift from God to the Republican party!
