And I remember when Maryland passed the seat belt law. It was a "secondary offense". Meaning the police could not pull you over just because you were not belted up. You could be fined of they pulled you for another offense if not belted. The lawmakers promised it would not be a "primary offense". The lied as usual. Now this!! Howierd county cops STAND in the little traffic circles, when you can only travel about 5 mph and look in your window to see if you are buckled up. If not, they scream at you to pull over in the circle and cite you. When you proceed on to the highway you get cut off by some a$$hole on a cell phone doing 70 mph in the merge lane. I guess thats not as bad as not being belted.

I stand corrected. There are some good things about Maryland. Two of them are Robert Ehrlich and especially Michael Steele.

They paid for them on the first stop!
In Maryland you get the choice of a $1000 fine or a $100 fine and driving Barbara Mikulski around for a day. (Where's Amnesty International when you need them?) /end Maryland sarcasm
