I don't think so. Remember how quiet they were right after 9/11? One radio talk show guy (ok, it was Michael Savage) declared the left clinically dead. After such a tragedy, the vocal leftists will likely draw fire, and I don't mean figuratively, from the previously silent, apathetic majority.
