That's not what I meant. It's not about draftees. It's about their motivation, morale and command. You really don't want to understand what I mean...
A draftee army is NOT motivated, has lousy morale, and the commanders are there to get their cards punched. I was there and saw the American army in Nam, and many of the troops were spaced out on booze and pot. The only exception would be in the elite units. Please tell me how I can understand what you mean? Have you ever been in the army, navy, marines, air force, or coast guard?

What I mean is simple: the scale of deaths of Chechen civilians is way above any justification and the way the russians are dealing with them is inhuman. And my being or not being in the army has nothing to do with it.
