It's ok for Poland to occupy Gdansk, Olsztyn, etc., since it was "war recompense" but wrong for Russia to quell a rebelious republic within their borders? Hypocrites of the world unite!

You are making a fool of yourself. Ther are no Germans in those cities. The only significant German minority in Poland is in Silesia, ca. 100 000 people.
