Eastern Germany was given to Poland as a war recompense. You are being deliberately obtuse. You pretend not to see very simple distinctions. Chechnya was CONQUERED. It is a conquered land. Eastern Germany is not.
As for Stalin: it was not OK when he carved up Poland with Hitler, it was not OK when he drove 1,5mln Germans out of their homes. It was very, very NOT OK that there was a World War II.
Ha! Funny - Eastern Germany was "given" to Poland as compensation for war, but Chechnya was "conquered"?
Name one friggin' land anywhere in the world that hasn't been conquered and then subsequently made part of the conquering country? Please provide the answer to when Chechnya became part of the Russian Empire... And then you'll realize how friggin' assinine it is to call this a war for independence.
Since it's not ok for the Poles to drive the Germans off of their homeland, will you recompense them or allow them to reclaim their property? Waiting for the answer. My ex-wife's family didn't help the Nazis, so what are they guilty of? Being German in Poland? Isn't that racial cleansing?
