As fas as I can make it out, they weren't in any war zone. Remember, Osetia is not Chechenya.

I sirously doubt they were filming Russian forces in a way that could threaten their security or whatever your (US) rules are refering to...

1. I guess you've missed the various attacks in Ingushia, to bad.

2. Filming the military without permission in most nations, including America, is illegal.

Try again to excuse their actions. I guess nothing that is done by poles is wrong, even when it is.
