I once took a test drive in a buddies 64 Acadian Beaumont with a fresh 327 installed. He was sitting on an orange crate and I was in the back seat with no floor boards.
Nobody should see a road passing under you and a spinning drive shaft between your legs at 80 mph with a demented driver sitting on a wooden box.
