It's a very small minority of people on FR who have such a strange outlook on it, but I point it out because it isn't that many steps removed from nutcake behavior like in the article.

There's a lot worse a person can do than cheat on their spouse. Like I said, if I had a cheating spouse, I'd be mad, upset, etc, but not violent. Nope, pack your backs and hit the bricks - I'm free to find a woman who appreciates me, and she would become somebody else's problem.

But stoning? Insane.

I have not been accused of being liberal because of it, but I have been accused of being somewhat less than a man for it (no idea where that comes from), and also for being morally 'lost' over the issue.

That kind of extremism isn't 'conservative' as far as I am concerned. Anybody that fearful of being cuckolded should avoid marriage and just get a pet.
