Now let me think, is it spelled scapegoat? No doubt a payoff involved.
Kofi Annan should fire himself.

His lawyer told Reuters the decision to award the contract was made by Mr Stephanides' superiors.Wouldn't that have been the people on the 661 Committee?

"I am very disappointed by this decision," the UN veteran of 25 years told the Associated Press news agency. Understandable.. "Why only me?... Why... oh why?"

Did it ever occur to anyone that maybe they are getting ready for our new UN Ambassador...John Bolton...knowing that the jig is up?!!
All the more reason to get Bolton in there NOW.

Kofi hanging on for dear lifeSlick Willie is about to stomp on Kofi's fingers, too. Then, we'd have a REAL crook to deal with at the helm of the UN.

"Paging Benon Savan...white discourtesy phone...Benon Savan, white discoutesy phone!"
Savan's massa, Koffe Anu$ had him placed on "retainer" at the princely sum of $1...just so he's still a U.N diplomat on record, and immune from ANY prosecution!

Very insightful...and a real possibility.
Note to self: don't play chess for money with Recovering Ex-hippie as he can think more than one move ahead

Mr Stephanides, 59... the UN veteran of 25 years... Lemme get this straight. Sweet Pea's been working for the UN since he was 24 years old? Ever had an honest job?
To: Recovering Ex-hippie
Khofi is trying to cover his ass, Bolton will be comin' in swinging!!

Hopefully the UN has more will to punish crooks than it had for
Callixte Mbarushimana. He murdered fellow UN workers during the Rwandan genocide, was fired for the UN for the murders, and then won a lawsuit for compensation.

Wonder what he did to get kicked under the Kofi- table? I'm sure Braveheart Kofi has a hit-list that keeps them all terrorized.

United Nations Secretary General Kofi Annan has sacked a senior official accused of serious misconduct over Iraq's oil-for-food programme. Scapeidocious Goatanides, who is alleged to have steered a lucrative contract to a British firm, is the first UN employee sacked over the scandal.
Oh no, he lost his job. That'll learn 'em not to steal billions of dollars. By golly. That'll do Annan, that'll do.
