According to her, Bush is undoing the progress that was done during "the Clinton Administration", thus sending us back to the 19th Century...
Notice how she is giving the Clinton Administration credit for EVERYTHING, up until Bush was elected and now he's supposedly taking us back...what achievements did Clinton have that have been taken away to where there is none of the 20th Century left? BTW, I didn't find a thread, and was wondering if anyone saw the Progressive conference that was on live on c-span today? It had the new mayor of California, and a bunch of the lefties there...

Well, in the 19th century the only STD they had (of any consequence) was syphilis. Now we've got aids, clap, gonorrhea, crabs, and how many hundreds of others? The Clintons probably were responsible for that "progress".

To be fair, I think she is talking about the entire Democrat project going back to FDR.
That is going to be the big slogan in 08. The Democrats gave us the prosperity of the 20th century. She is already testing it.
Will people buy it? who knows. If the GOP blows this, them they deserve it. Hillary should be easy to beat. They just have to call the Democrats out on their real intent.

We also still have high taxes, heavy regulations, and moral relativism. Where is this 19th Century she's talking about?
