'Prophet' summons UFO for camera - Las Vegas TV station captures, broadcasts image

An ABC-TV affiliate in Las Vegas broadcast images of a UFO summoned by a self-styled "prophet" who predicts many more will be seen throughout the area next week.

Ramon Watkins, also known as "Prophet Yahweh" agreed to meet with a reporter and camera crew of KTNV at a location of their choice and time.

What they witnessed, and captured on camera, stunned the reporter and crew.

Watkins claims to have seen some 1,500 UFOs over the last 25 years and has learned to summon them by reading the Old Testament.

anal probes of hicks they pick up on backroads.

No, that's what the Defense Advanced Research Projects Administration created the Internet for, if I read the Alexa rating of AdultFriendFinder.com correctly.

Why didn't the reporter attempt to rule out the possibility of this guy having nearby assistants with balloons?

It didn't seem plausible from the video. A balloon tether long enough to control a balloon up in the clouds would be too heavy. Take another look at the video. It is pretty compelling evidence that this was some kind of aircraft.

Thank you for the verse, pocat. It seems that blasphemy is a regular part of daily life now, but this one is really over the top. I don't mind Art's show as a general rule---campfire tales are nice once in a while---but I found this show troubling. I guess that Nouri doesn't have enough of a liberal arts education (or Biblical literacy) to realize that he blasphemed every time he mentioned the guest by name.

Frankly, I don't think much of "conservatism" that is divorced from religious values.

This was mentioned (and I think the "prophet" was) on Coast to Coast AM with George N, a coworker who always listens told me about it.
