After only one term for guv Florio in NJ, Christie Whitman seemed like a bright light and just what the state needed. It was only after she assumed office that her RINO qualities came out, and even moreso after her re-election. After that, she was completely off my list. I don't know whether she changed, or if she just stopped pretending. I really don't know.

Remember that a-hole who walked out of the Republican Convention when Barry got nominated? He walked out with two other proto-RINOs - Keating and Javits. All three losers from New York. That was her idol.
Just a sweet little rich girl who wanted to protect her bucks and not rock the boat on social issues.
She even wrote a book recently attacking conservative Republicans. I think its called "Its My Party Too".
