Yeah, I thought that was rather weird considering that you have a much older Alec Guiness standing next to a very young Hayden Christensen. Wouldn't it make sense that Anakin would appear as a ghost about the same age as he had died? Maybe Lucas thought people weren't smart enough to make the connection between Ep. 4-6 and the prequels. After all, we got lectured about how only bad people "deal in absolutes."
only in the special edition trilogy.. the original 4-5-6 trilogy it was the weightlifter guy materialized as Anakin's force ghost....
