actually now that i've clicked on the link the site it takes you to says the boy is alive. The pellet hit him in the thigh.

That's just weird. When I posted the story the link led to an AP report in the Chronicle. Now it leads to a Houston Chronicle story which contradicts the earlier report.

Being shot in the thigh and doing well is quite different than being dead.
