Buchanan says Mark Felt didn't get the director and that is one reason he tried to take down Nixon (my words not Buchanan's). Nixon believed it was someone with vindictive motives according to Monica Crowley. He called him "the source" not Deep Throat because of Woodward & Bernstein. lol!
