I presume they will now prosecute him for a government employee divulging private information.

Is there a stature of limitations on those type of things?

I was thinking the same thing. Some of the living Watergate figures, like Liddy, could make a case that Felt was guilty of unauthorized release of classified information and that therefore their prosecutions were unjust and should be overturned. It does sound as if Felt did this more out of personal pique than out of abstract idealism about administering justice.

Can't touch him.

President Reagan gave him a pardon back in like 1980 or so.

Maybe the gipper knew?

I thought Bush was going to get this kind of thing stopped.

As far as I am concerned he is nothing more than a disgruntled former government employee who broke his oath as a public servant.

A man or woman who does that is nothing more than a valueless butt hole.

Same as Hellary and her FBI files.

Reagan pardoned Felt about 20-minutes into the 1st term.
