Per MSNBC
I think you pretty much covered it. lol!
Good points Hack.
Amen
and the MSM will annoint the rat.
That's how it works in DC. Democrats good. Republicans bad.
That book is a gold mine. The two authors are political liberals and began their writing with Dean helping them. Over time he became hostile to what they felt were innocuous questions, and it began to occur to them that he wasn't happy with where the trail was leading. Of course, it was leading to him and he couldn't explain it away. He was hoping his anger would make them look elsewhere.
"It's so long ago ... wonder why the guy is coming forward. Is he ill? Want to set the record straight?"
His children want to make some money off the old criminal.
What was Moorer's statement? I'd forgotten his involvement.
Nina Totenberg is the real Deep Throat, I tell you.
The MSM made things up even then? I'm shocked!
It is funny during the McCarthy era there was so much noise going on......at that time these trader must have been in incubation and spawn during the 60's they were so subtle that it was not until the generations after which many in GenX seem alien but not totally recognized as indifferent to US traditons, so many could in a stealth matter got a lot of dismantling the supports of this great nation
I wonder if the JFK mystery will ever surface in this life time?
If I have to hear another quote on the radio from his family members: "He wants to rightfully bask in the glory of what he has done", "I'm very proud of what he did for his country" etc. WHAT ARE THESE NUTS TALKING ABOUT?
"So, the great hero of the left turns out to be nothing more than an ingrate bureaucrat who was upset because he was passed up for a promotion. There's some altruism."
For a moment there I thought you were talking about Richard Clarke, or maybe Joe Wilson.... birds of a feather! Richard Clarke was not only passed over for promotion but (appropriately) demoted - he took his revenge in a way very destructive to our national interest. Joe Wilson may not have been formally passed over for anything, but it was obvious that he thinks he ought to be Secy. of State or in some other lofty role, and is pissing all over the place in his rage that the Bush administration just didn't think of him as significant..... wonder why???
Yep. All those undisclosed FBI files might also explain some of the peculiar behavior we have been witnessing in the senate of late.
IT'S THE MONEY!!! They've got this addled 90 something granpa who once got p...d cause he didn't get the promotion and typical liberal stuck it to Nixon instead of having the guts to deal with it. So grandpa is on his way out and his daughter wants to cash in on her golden goose before he croaks! After he's dead, he is worthless...excuse me worthless financially! This story is not that complicated. A bunch of people got rich before on the story and now Felt'sdaughter doesn't want to miss out on the money. Guess she learned her pettyness from dear old dad.
What a total balloon deflating deal! This whole big deal for 30 years and now its just some weasel that didn't get a gig. Yeesh.
And would someone tell all these Freeprs for once and for all where the name "Deep Throat" came from?
LINDA LOVELACE, A PORNO STAR, DID A MOVIE CALLED DEEP THROAT! ( How about scanning the thread next time before you post the 89th question..."Uh, where did that name come from?"
Guess I understand better WHY Stalin knocked off so many around him.
"MF is not a hero, nor a patriot."
And right you are.
"IT'S THE MONEY!!!..."
Excellent analysis.
And Bush effectively pardoned the Clintons by refusing to investigate their prolifigate crimes. The Republicans roll over, and the Democrats roll on.
King had a couple of advisors who had belonged to the CPUSA, which is what got the attention of JFK and his brother Robert. Hunter Pitts Odell was one, I don't recall the other name. The Kennedys were worried that the CPUSA was going to subvert King's movement, something that likely worried Johnson later when King spoke against the Vietnam war.
