Thanks for posting that article too...even if it is a google translation, it works as far as information goes.

I must say, this is discouraging. I really thought this thread was dead.

"Two suspected cases of Marburg in Songo were Meneigits (N. Uige province) [Ed. Note. Sure it was.]"

Just the mention of meningitis in Angola, combinded with the mention of it China's outbreak makes me wonder about any connection. I am well aware that meningitis can be present for many reasons, Mr.x actually had a terrible bout with it about 20 yrs. ago...but still ebola and marburg are nearly interchangable esp. sinse marburg has now shown it can be just as deadly, (i.e. high mortality)...so I wonder if we are in a pandemic that is being kept quiet on a global scale.
And FRiends, whatever became of the ill-fated Clipper Lancaster, last heard to be heading for China? Can't find a word about it. I have thought that the marburg story seemed strange, calling it over at the height of the outbreak and the news blackout that followed...now the suspicions being brought forth regarding China really have me wondering...
too much news to be nothing, too much gov. interest...
