Authorities in Frederick County, Md., have begun investigating a report of repeated incidents in which eighth-grade boys fondled and taunted first-grade girls on a public school bus last fall. The mother of one first-grade girl said she first learned of the fondling accusations this month and is criticizing school officials for not alerting her. Detective Willie Ollie of the Frederick County Sheriff's Department said he has opened an investigation into the case.

Agreed, it's obviously Society's fault and not the 8th grade boys' fault.

Wonder what those boys saw at home to give them the idea to assault first grade girls?
To: JZelle
If my 8th grade boy behaved that way, he'd get smacked upside the head, but good.
Lucky for him he doesn't exist.

Ding Ding Ding.
If Fredrick county's "sex ed" program was anything like the one that just got tossed in Montgomery county I could give a good guess.

Come to think of it, do first-grade girls even have anything to grope? Maybe all those additives in our food really are making girls 'mature' faster. hmmm....

Look to the culture. These boys are being bombarded with sex talk, images, etc...so not having the maturity to control themselves, they go after the weak. Morality being only in the eye of the beholder and the schools being too busy instructing the kids to respect all sexual orientations, no one bothers with teaching them how to distinguish between true right and wrong. And typical of human nature at its worst, they try to hide this disaster after the fact.
God help the children of this generation. They've got fools in charge of them.

It's both society's fault and the boy's fault. You don't get 12 and 13-year-old boys behaving this way without a little help from society. That doesn't make them less guilty, but it doesn't let everyone else off the hook either.
