I have my doubts, reason is Woodward and Bernstein wont confirm or deny it. If this guy was actually "Deepthroat" and admitting his identity what reason would they have to keep it a secret anymore?

This is the first time that W & B have categorically refused to deny a proposed candidate, in this case, one of the most time-honoured suspects: Nixon himself thought Felt was DT. Please see post #413 in this thread for possible reasons why Woodward et al. may not want to deal with the implications of their having protected a violator of his (probably multiple) federal oaths as 2nd in commsnd at the FBI -- from which Felt was summarily cashiered shortly after Watergate became a big deal.
