Sergeant Major Steve Greer shared an interesting theory about Zarqawi's admission of injury on Fox & Friends this morning. He speculated that such an admission would imply that Zarqawi is personally fighting on the front lines of the insurgency. The statement may be a lie and an merely an attempt to rally his followers to fight as well.

Is he putting in a sunroom for Biny now? Just an addition on the cave. We may never see rates this low again, so clearly Bin Laden is tapping into his equity for this.

I am praying for the day when this guy and Bin Laden wind up in boxes.

It appears more and more that Zarqawi was never seriously wounded (and that these websites are silly for people to do too much assuming from).

Whether or not he was seriously wounded or even wounded at all is not very important.... what IS important is that we were close to him... very close. First he loses his laptop and now a (figurative) piece of his butt.
We are gradually making it more difficult for him to operate. The terrorists are making a big splash right now but won't be able to sustain it. It was a bad tactical move on their part; they needed to wait for Tet, and they moved too soon.
