What's Wrong With Our Republicans? (vanity)

My concern is that an unfortunate amount of republican politicians chose the party out of favorable demographics rather then choosing the party that matched their principles.

You're exactly right! Especially in states where it is difficult to get elected outside of the Republican Party, like Texas. That's just one of the problems you have with great success.

As I stated in my article, I think Democrats are much more humanist than Republicans are conservative or Christian. Many Republicans are humanists as well. They simply approach it differently, and find a different solution to the problem of human depravity.

I think starving government is one great solution. Decrease taxes, get rid of the graduated income tax, anything to strip Congress of its power of destruction over our economy and culture.
