Islam IS the religion of virtually all Iraqis. Let's point out a statement on religious values is also included in our 50 state constitutions. It doesn't make us a theocracy. Iraq won't be a carbon copy of America but it won't be an Iranian-style theocracy either. Our soldiers are fighting to keep our country safe from terrorists and we have to remember who the enemy is; its not the people of Iraq and their elected legislators trying to map out the country's first democratic Constitution. As a political exercise, it has grassroots participation absent in the just rejected EU Charter.

THAT islam is the religion IS the problem. And, we don't count statements as Law in this country. We do NOT have a state religion. The enemy is Islam and until we face up to that we will be fighting imaginary windmills.

Consider the fact that on the face of the earth there is not one Muslim Cleric who has put out a Fatwah of a death sentence on Osama. Where is the Million Muslim March against Osama? Compare the EU Charter to Iraq? Pleeeeezzz. The EU allows Korans and Mosques in Europe, the Iraqis will not allow the Bible to be spread among its citizens.

But hey, its a religion of Peace, ..... as long as you submit to it.
