Thoughtless, I'll agree, but it's a stretch to call it a spit in the face.

You are obviously unaware of the various days that Google has recognized by changing their logo on those days, such as International Art Day, St. Patrick's Day and so on. Not doing so on Memorial Day is a direct and intentional spit in the face of the US military.

As I have indicated before, Google is one of the most leftist companies in the valley.

the most leftist companies in the valley. If there were a holiday to celebrate gays and lesbians, I am sure they would decorate their logo for that day. I am glad we don't celebrate gays. We are not that godless (yet). But google could sure come up with a cool logo for a gay holiday.
