Galations 6:14 May I never boast except in the cross of our Lord Jesus Christ, through which the world has been crucified to me, and I to the world.

...who thinks he knows better than 2,000 years of Holy Spirit inspiration and guidance.

What is really tragic is anyone thinking the sacrifice of Christ is not enough for salvation, that any other Mediator or Redeemer is necessary, or that the Word of God needs supplimentation.

What makes you think we believe that sacrifice of Christ is not enough? There is nothing in Catholic teaching that suggests this. On the contrary, OUR celebration of the Eucharist (which is the entire purpose of the Mass) is more focused on Christ than any “grape juice and crackers” reminder in Protestant churches. As far as supplimentation [sic], we supplement nothing. Indeed, we have been steadfast since Jesus instituted the Catholic Church. One has only to look at the 31,000 different Protestant denominations to wonder who is supplementing what. And before you go off on the communion of saints, let me ask, do you ever ask other Christians to pray for you? It’s no different.
