Yeah, aligning yourself with Iran is a rational line of thought.

And we can thank Jimmy Carter for going to the trouble to monitor the Venezuelan "referendum," where clearly Chavez LOST!........but Jimmy told the world that everything look clean as a whistle to him......yep, all fair and square at the polling places which he surveyed. In his infinite wisdom, Carter declared that Chavez ran a model election for himself!

Carter is a Stalinist dupe. He wouldn't know a fair election from a gulag.

All of latin American gov'ts were set up modeled on the original Spanish "caudillo" system. i.e. "head honcho, or strong man." (dictator) None were derived from roots similar to ours. So, through the centuries, there is always the "caudillo" in their nations. It just depends whether he's our caudillo, or Russia's caudillo, or now - apparently - Iran's caudillo.

Come to think of it, I don't know whose caudillo Vicente Fox is.......maybe Jacques Chirac's caudillo?

Very depressing.

He aroused further American anger last week by threatening to form a nuclear alliance with Iran

Does this guy not get Fox News in his home town? May want to call his cable company so he can keep up with current events. We'll be draggin' his dusty a$$ out of a spider hole in the future if he keeps it up.

Too good, Oil, logistics and joint economic deals underway. Watch as Chinese machine tools are captured in Colomibia in great volume.

Same pattern as seen in Africa.

"Chavez’s apparent conviction that US agents were behind an attempted coup that briefly ousted him in 2002"

Second time's the charm.

Partnering with Iran on nuclear power is a winner. They should ignore those with extensive nuclear power experience, such as France, Japan, Russia, China, USA, England and go with the black market variety. Makes perfect economic sense to the roly-poly paranoid.
