ST. LUCIE COUNTY -- Sheriff investigators have identified the body of a woman found in a suitcase floating in a ditch Saturday afternoon and have arrested a Fort Pierce man for allegedly killing his former girlfriend.
Investigators identified the body as Joanne Banks, 45, of Port St. Lucie. Detectives arrested Francis Shevlin, 72, of Fort Pierce, less than 12 hours after her body was discovered, reports show.

The hell's a 72 year old trying to prove by murdering someone? He must have killed before, probably.
At least he didn't climb a crane in Atlanta like the other one.
He is old enough to be her father. Pretty sick relationship on many levels apparently.

Wow!!! Just heard about this one...
My mother-in-law sold her double-wide to this couple two years ago. My wife met the couple while helping her mother move out. Her impression was that, as a couple, they didn't fit together at all...kind of a train wreck waiting to happen.
Unfortunately, it did...The drainage canal in which her body was found is right across the street from where the couple lived.
